Firefighters have rescued two window cleaners who became stranded after their suspended cradle malfunctioned on the 15th storey of a London skyscraper.
The men were working on One Blackfriars in Blackfriars Road, Southwark on Thursday evening, London Fire Brigade (LFB) said.
The service was called shortly before 17:30 BST and used 209 ft (64m) turntable ladder to bring the pair down to safety, within 45 minutes.
The LFB said no-one was hurt, adding: “This is a great example of how the brigade uses its specialist equipment to meet the challenges of London’s built environment.”
