Khloé Kardashian called out “gross” comments made by ex-husband Lamar Odom‘s son, Lamar “LJ” Odom Jr., in a recent tell-all documentary.

“I want [Lamar] to be able to have the documentary that he wants out there,” Kardashian, 42, told Scott Disick during the Thursday, October 22, episode of The Kardashians while reflecting on her decision to appear in the Netflix project.

The reality star got an early preview of Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom before it was released in March — and she wasn’t thrilled.

“They sent me the footage so I can watch the whole thing. The son, LJ, is like, ‘I only came around for Christmas because I knew Kris [Jenner] and Khloé were going to spend a lot of money on me,’” she recalled. “It was so gross how they were talking about me.”

Disick, 43, claimed Odom’s family was “pretty rude, even at the time.” Kardashian’s friend Malika Haqq agreed with Disick and said Odom’s son previously reached out to her in hopes of getting Kardashian to promote something of his on her social media.

“They always want something,” Kardashian said. “At first you want to be there for people, but then when you realize, ‘Gosh, these people are just users or takers.’ They don’t genuinely care about you.”

She continued: “They’re not asking anything about you. They’re just [like], ‘Do this for me. Do this for me, do this for me.’ They’ve never, ever really been nice to me and so the fact that they even feel comfortable asking me for things is ballsy.”

Odom, 46, and Kardashian dated for one month before getting engaged in 2009. They got married later that year, but Kardashian filed for divorce in 2013. Kardashian later postponed her petition after Odom was found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel. The former athlete was in a coma for three days and later required months of rehabilitation.

Without the divorce in progress, Kardashian was able to make medical decisions on Odom’s behalf. He eventually recovered, and they officially got divorced in 2016.

The pair’s relationship was revisited in Netflix’s Untold documentary earlier this year.

Netflix’s documentary about Lamar Odom‘s near-fatal overdose featured a candid interview from ex-wife Khloé Kardashian about his “monstrous” drug use, his infidelity and their divorce. Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom, which premiered on Tuesday, March 31, follows Odom’s life leading up to his marriage to Kardashian, 41. After their nuptials, Kardashian found […]

“The drug buildup was getting worse and worse. There were many times Lamar would go for 12 hours or two days and escape rehab. He would go on a drug bender and no one could find him,” Kardashian said. “I was either looking for him in alleys or looking for him in motels. He would have tinfoil cutouts or spoons and he was freebasing things and leaving things everywhere. I remember needing to go to hotel rooms to clean up after him.”

Kardashian added: “I was such an enabler without knowing I was an enabler. But I just felt such a responsibility to cover this up, hold it together and protect him.”

After the doc came out, Odom walked back the suggestion that Kardashian saved his life after his near-fatal overdose. During an episode of the Today show in April, Odom said Kardashian had responsibility “in some ways,” saying, “God saved my life. My lord saved my life, honestly.”

The Today show hosts reiterated that Kardashian “stepped in and stayed by your side” after Odom suffered six heart attacks and 12 strokes in 2015.

“A lot of us were saying, ‘She rode hard for you,’” Sheinelle Jones told Odom. He acknowledged that Kardashian “took care” of him, adding, “But God took care of me the most. What I came back from is like a medical miracle.”

Hulu releases new episodes of The Kardashians every Thursday.
