A Brewers fan who purchased a ‘Timeless Ticket’ in 2015 is waiting to find out if his ticket will grant him access to a World Series game after nearly 12 years of anticipation
A Milwaukee Brewers fan who bought a “Timeless Ticket” in 2015 is eagerly awaiting confirmation that his ticket will secure him a seat at the World Series at American Family Field.
Brewers fans are celebrating the team’s first-ever World Series at the stadium, but ticket prices have made attending the games unaffordable for many.
“They’re just too expensive. I mean, we were looking at the tickets. They’re thousands of dollars. So, I can’t afford that,” said Brewers fan Maddie Hensel on Friday.
For a select few, though, their World Series tickets were purchased years ago through a unique promotion.
Nate Holzman, an Oak Creek native now living in Los Angeles, is one of those fans. Holzman, who attended Game 3 of the National League Championship Series on Wednesday, bought his “Timeless Ticket” in 2015 for $1,000.
“I think I bought it the first day they were on sale because it sounded like a good idea. You could put down a thousand dollars and that would guarantee you a ticket for any future game of your choice,” Holzman said Friday.

The Brewers sold only 1,000 of these tickets, which also allow the holder to purchase three additional tickets at face value. Holzman, a lifelong Brewers fan, said he has been eagerly waiting for this moment.
“If they can redeem this ticket for me and get me to the game as I’ve pictured in my mind for the last 12 years, it would be the best thing ever,” Holzman said.
Holzman must submit a form by Saturday to redeem his ticket and will find out on Monday which game he will attend and where he will be seated.
The Brewers confirmed they are honoring “Timeless Ticket” redemptions. In a statement to Hearst sister station WISN, the team said they “have been working diligently on all inquiries in the order they are received.”
After 12 years of waiting, Holzman is holding on for just a little longer to see if his dream will come true.
