The 2027 Women’s Premier League (WPL) mini auction will take place in Kochi on Wednesday, October 28, with 146 players set to go under the hammer.
Across the five franchises, only 20 slots remain for Indian players, with 97 uncapped Indian players hoping to secure a deal.
Here are some of the uncapped Indian players to watch out for at the WPL 2027 mini auction.
Vrinda Dinesh (Batter)
The Karnataka batter remains one of the most expensive uncapped Indian players in WPL history. UP Warriorz signed her for Rs. 1.30 crore at the 2024 auction.
Although she is yet to make a significant impact in the WPL, Vrinda has been among the runs on the domestic circuit and has also featured in recent India A tours.
Sujata Dey (Left-arm pacer; All-rounder)
The Bengal pace-bowling all-rounder was recently part of the India A squad for the home series against Australia A and featured in one of the unofficial T20 matches.
Sujata also impressed in the Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League, finishing as the Player of the Tournament and the competition’s leading run-scorer with 353 runs in eight matches at an average of 58.83. Her tally included an unbeaten 112.
Bhavika Ahire (Wicketkeeper-batter)
The Maharashtra wicketkeeper-batter already has an Under-19 World Cup campaign under her belt and is among the contenders for India’s captaincy at the 2027 edition.
Earlier this year, Bhavika captained India in a home white-ball series against Sri Lanka, scoring two half-centuries in the T20 matches.
More recently, she led Maharashtra in the BCCI Women’s Under-19 T20 Trophy Elite tournament, where she registered two half-centuries.
Gongadi Trisha (Batter)
The Hyderabad batter, who can also bowl leg-spin, rose to prominence at the Under-19 World Cup last year, becoming the first player to score a century in the tournament’s history.
Following that successful campaign, Trisha was signed by UP Warriorz for Rs. 10 lakh but did not feature in a match during the 2026 season.
She is now opening the batting for Hyderabad in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy Elite tournament and has already registered a half-century.
Anandita Kishor (Right-arm pacer)
Another member of India’s Under-19 World Cup-winning squad from last year, Anandita Kishor is currently captaining Jharkhand in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy Elite tournament.
The right-arm pacer has picked up three wickets in two matches so far.
