FROM THE UNITED WAY OF HARRISON AND DODDRIDGE COUNTIES
The United Way of Harrison and Doddridge Counties and Clarksburg City Parks has announced the Drool at the Pool event today, Sunday, August 16, that was to be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Splash Zone has been canceled.
The event is held to give dogs exclusive access to the pool for an afternoon of swimming, splashing, and socializing before the facility is drained for the year. Unfortunately, due to lightning and storms in the area, the United Way made the difficult decision to cancel the Drool at the Pool event for the safety of all participants, volunteers, and pets.
