Just ahead of the West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival, an infrastructure project in downtown Clarksburg is complete.
The Harrison County Courthouse sidewalk replacement project was completed last week by Militia Men Concrete, LLC out of Clarksburg. The company recently posted about the work being done on social media.
“We came in and removed the old cracked and failing concrete sidewalk, put down a fresh layer of compacted aggregate, installed fiberglass rebar on a two foot grid pattern, then poured and finished a four thousand psi concrete with a nice broom finish…We also laid out the joints on a five foot square design,” the post stated.
