During the July 6 meeting of the Harrison County Board of Education, elected Board member Doug Hoge was selected to be a board member of the United Technical Center.
The United Technical Center provides career and technical education (CTE) for high school students and adults across Harrison, Doddridge, and Taylor counties. It prepares students for the workforce through hands-on vocational training, certifications, and specialized post-secondary programs.
Hogue is a retired long-time educator in Harrison County. He also served as a coach for decades in the school system.
