Christmas came early for U.K. based Gleeks over the weekend.

Glee alums Chris Colfer and Darren Criss reunited, almost a decade after the hit Fox musical comedy-drama wrapped, for a London performance of “Baby It’s Cold Outside” on Sunday, October 18.

“The only thing inappropriate about doing this song is doing it without me,” Colfer, 36, who played Kurt Hummel on the show, said as he hit the stage during Criss’ one-night-only Royal Albert Hall concert rendition of the track. (Originally released in 1944 by Frank Loesser for his wife, Lynn Garland, to sing with him, the song has famously been rerecorded by several artists over the years.)

According to Variety, Criss, 39, who played Blaine Anderson on the show, started out by telling fans he was comfortable with singing both parts of the duet that the pair’s characters had famously performed together during 2010’s season 2 of Glee.

“It’s not supposed to be like that, but I’ve managed to pull off so many things,” Criss reportedly told the crowd before Colfer walked onto the stage.

The mini cast reunion comes after fellow Glee stars Kevin McHale and Matthew Morrison visited Jonathan Groff backstage at his Broadway show, Just In Time, in January. Prior to that, Glee reunions have not proven frequent, with the last joining Jane Lynch, Amber Riley, Heather Morris and other stars for Fox’s Celebrity Weakest Link in September 2025.

For Criss, life after Glee has seen the actor venture further into TV with a starring role in 2018’s The Assasination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, as well as broaden his Broadway work with performances in Maybe Happy Ending, of which he also serves as a producer.

Colfer, meanwhile, has pushed into the world of publishing, creating a series of bestselling Land of Stories books in addition to other book collections. He is also set to star in the upcoming film The Restoration at Grayson Manor.

Gleeks were treated to a surprise just last month when the show’s creator, Ryan Murphy, told Entertainment Tonight that he had completed a revival script for the show.

“I just finished the script an hour ago. We have a script. Brad [Falchuk] and Ian [Brennan] and I, who wrote all the first two seasons, have written something,” he told the outlet on September 23.

Murphy, 60, also noted that he had reached out to members of the show’s cast including Lea Michele, Morrison, 47, Lynch, 66, McHale, 38, Riley, 40, and more.
