Abhishek Sharma slammed a 30-ball hundred against Afghanistan on Thursday to smash the record for the fastest T20I ton by a batter from a Test playing nation.

Abhishek struck nine fours and 11 sixes to score 108 runs off 34 balls to become India’s fastest T20I centurion, breaking the record of Rohit Sharma’s set in 2017.

The 26-year-old batter is the fourth Indian record holder for fastest T20I century after Suresh Raina, KL Rahul and Rohit.
