According to WDTV, two women were killed in a head-on collision in Marion County Wednesday evening, August 26.
Jessica Frye, 39, was travelling south on Helens Run Road in Farmington at approximately 5:45 p.m. when she crossed the center line and collided with Cheyenne Russ, 26, who was travelling north, according to witness reports provided to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
Russ was pronounced dead on scene, and Frye died while being transported by HealthNet, deputies said.
A juvenile female was also in the vehicle with Frye and is believed to be in stable condition at this time, deputies said.
Deputies are unsure of the cause of the accident at this time.
The accident is still under investigation, and both families of the women were notified on scene, deputies said.
