An accident in a rural part of Harrison County resulted in one individual needing transport for medical treatment.
First responders arrived on the scene to find a white four-door truck that had gone off the roadway. The vehicle had come to rest on its side.
By the time emergency personnel arrived, the driver of the vehicle had exited the vehicle., The occupant was examined and given care by the Harrison County Emergency Squad. The individual was transported to United Hospital Center for additional evaluation. No word on the status of the individual was available.
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office joined the RVFD on the scene of the accident. The Sheriff’s Office will oversee the investigation.
